With his rugged, expressionistic lines, Wijnand de Vries creates images reflecting various cultures. His works never fail to capture the imagination. Wijnand draws using oil pastels on photographic paper and using pigment sticks on textiles. He discovered his artistic calling in 2004, and went on to win second prize in the 2011 Special Awards.
