Marcello Pieter Stokhof creates imaginative sculptures of people and animals. To get the correct proportions, Marcello sometimes consults books or the internet. He also draws inspiration from films, music and visits to museums. Marcello strives for perfection in his work. He meticulously decorates his sculptures with acrylic paint and varnish. Marcello was highly praised after participating in the Amsterdam Light Festival. His sculpture entitled Friendship is currently on display in front of the entrance to the Outsider Art Gallery.
