Ben Augustus takes a remarkable approach to his work: he starts in one corner of the paper and finishes in another. Flying in the face of all rules and laws of composition, his lines begin abruptly and stop elsewhere just as suddenly. Ben brings pen to paper whilst staring at models in pornographic magazines, and images of these women gradually fill the page. His figures are punctuated by (ostensibly) arbitrary texts and sex line telephone numbers.
